The Suffolk County Council provides a comprehensive, values-based program that develops character, teaches citizenship, and encourages personal fitness to over 31,000 youth each year. The council was chartered April 6, 1919 to instill values and expand the Scouting movement in Suffolk County.

The Suffolk County Council Service Center is located at 7 Scouting Boulevard in Medford - off of Horseblock Road just one-half mile south of Long Island Expressway Exit 65. The center is open weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A retail  Scout Shop,* operated by the BSA, National Supply Division is located in the service center. On-line purchases of Scouting equipment and supplies can be made via the internet by clicking here.
